I don't think the perfect blend of electronica and hardcore or metalcore exists, to be perfectly honest - but this comes pretty damn close. Ipswich, Australia's Facepalm a Piñata have created ten solid genderbending tracks that are going to confuse pure moral hardcore kids and pill popping clubbing peeps all the same.
The idea isn't entirely original, and some would argue that you couldn't go past the sensation that is Enter Shikari when it comes to electronica-enfused hardcore, but go back six years and that main contender to the mash up genre were The Axe That Chopped the Cherry Tree (anybody remember them? No?), so that doesn't stop this being fucking good and a decent sized contender to the crown.
Word to the hardcore kids, try not to be put off by the first track - it's definately worth it.
And with covers of Bloody Beetroots and Dillinger Escape Plan? Bazinga!
